PEDIATRIC PATIENTS

We see pediatric patients on a regular basis. We begin seeing children around age three when all of their primary teeth are erupted. They always enjoy their first visit with us, and they even get a Polaroid picture of themselves in the dental chair to take with them.

The first thing the children do when they come in for their cleanings and exams is to check the big bulletin board. We have two large bulletin boards that hold over two hundred names. Every time a child's visit is cavity free, we put a star by his or her name. With every four stars, the patient receives a T-shirt which says he/she is a member of Dr. Morrison's No Cavity Club. When sixteen stars is reached, the child receives a $16.00 gift certificate to the local mall.

After their visit, the children enjoy a peek at the large stuffed animal behind the front desk. At every visit they have their names entered into a drawing, and every three months one name is drawn. The lucky recipient wins the stuffed animal, and gets his or her picture taken with Dr. Morrison as a souvenir.
