He is also very active in maintaining physical health. He regularly plays racquetball, bikes, skis and jogs. But his passion is windsurfing which he pursues on Saratoga Lake in the summer and wherever it is warm in the winter.
Born and raised in Clifton Park, I am thrilled to have joined Morrison Dental Care. I attended the Bet Shraga Hebrew Academy and the Albany Academy, and then I spent four years at Emory University in Atlanta where I received a Bachelors degree in chemistry. My decision to become a dentist was made during this time, and was greatly influenced by growing up in a "dental house", and seeing the caring relationships my father had developed with so many of you. The experiences of my father, uncle, and grandfather, all dentists, certainly played a role in this decision as well. I graduated from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine with a degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2007. I then returned to the area to continue my dental education as a resident in the General Practice program at the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany. In the brief time since graduation, I have already become highly involved in continuing education, taking classes to become certified in the use of Dental Lasers and by becoming a certified Lumineers trained dentist. I am also taking training in CAD/CAM processed one-visit crowns and the placement of implants. In December I attended the “Six-Month Smiles” course where I will learn about six-month, tooth-colored, quick-working adult orthodontics. (For More Information About This Procedure Please Click Here) I have been involved with volunteer dentistry since entering the profession. During high school I accompanied my father to rural areas of Honduras on a joint medical and dental trip. During dental school I went to the Dominican Republic performing dentistry there. This past summer I spent time in Israel where I performed dental treatment for children at a low-income clinic in Jerusalem, and for non-dental fun I worked at a monkey refuge in South Africa
